Transportation and Distribution

To transport and distribute merchandise from place to place, shippers need a rugged notebook system with a versatile input interface and tracking ability. This requires a reliable onboard docking system. A rugged notebook is docked or mounted in-vehicle and linked to a data input device such as a barcode scanner or magnetic card reader. Merchandise information is scanned in and passed along via WWAN to the office database. The notebook can also be connected to a vehicle GPS antenna, which enables it to track transport routes.
